Vesak 

Vesak is a religious festival which is celebrated on full moon poya day of May by Buddhist people . 

All Buddhist people celebrate Vesak to mark the birth,enlightenment and passing away of Lord Buddha.

We do a lot of religious activities in this Vesak season.Almost all the Buddhist people engage in meritorious activities.

Most of the devotees observe sil and conduct sil compaigns.Some of the buddhist people hold free food donations and they organise devotional songs.

Some of our religious people conduct meditation compaigns in this season.Most of the young boys and girls and some adults illuminate their houses, religious places, temples, cities and rods with colourful bulbs,oil lamps Vesak lanterns and with colourful buckets.

In most of the cities pandals are errected to illuminate entire area.So Vesak season is a very peaceful religious season foe all of us.
