 New Year Festival 


We celebrate different festivals in our life.Among them new year festival is very important part of our culture.It is a solar of festival.Sinhala and Tamil people celebrate new year on 13th or 14th April every year.

                   People get ready for this festival earlier.Elders buy new clothes for their children,parents and intimate friends.People pick cob webs and clean the houses and environment very clearly.People by some new provisions to houses.


       Traditional sweet meats are prepared in all houses Before new year day Cuckoo scream and they predict new years' coming.Children stare untill new years' comming.Flowers bloom new year days impressively. Environment is very warm on that days.


        Sinhala and Tamil people do customs at auspicious time.Sinhala and Tamil people go their sacred places at meritorious time.People believe that prosperity is got to house by boiling milk.Mothers prepare milk rice and traditional foods.


                        After doing new year customs people go to visit relations on the new year days.Then they forget their anger and apologize for their wrong.So on the new year days pleasant mood is created in all people.There for I think that new year festival is the spectacular festival in life.

  My family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦💞 Family is the first school in a person’s life, our family values and traditions are our first and valuable asset. my family has five members . Both my parents are working. My father has a recording studio and My mother is a music teacher. My grandfather also stay with us.He has been suffering from paralysis for 12 years.He is a retired clerk and justice of the peace.He is a disciplinarian.Everyday he starts the day at 5.30 am. My parents take good care of him. My father is loving but quite strict person.We share the most love with mother.She is so funny but sometimes  rude when she became angry.                                                       I am the oldest in the family.
