 Vesak  Vesak is a religious festival which is celebrated on full moon poya day of May by Buddhist people .   All Buddhist people celebrate Vesak to mark the birth,enlightenment and passing away of Lord Buddha. We do a lot of religious activities in this Vesak season.Almost all the Buddhist people engage in meritorious activities. Most of the devotees observe sil and conduct sil compaigns.Some of the buddhist people hold free food donations and they organise devotional songs. Some of our religious people conduct meditation compaigns in this season.Most of the young boys and girls and some adults illuminate their houses, religious places, temples, cities and rods with colourful bulbs,oil lamps Vesak lanterns and with colourful buckets. In most of the cities pandals are errected to illuminate entire area.So Vesak season is a very peaceful religious season foe all of us.

  Unique sports personality 🏄🚵   Doing sports mean engage in track and field events or games or other adventurous activities.Some of the examples for the sports are running events,Volleyball,Netball,Cricket,Chess, Skydiving,Surfing and so on. We can identify main two parts in sports. They are indoor sports and outdoor sports.Chess,Carrom are the Indoor sports and Volleyball, Cricket,Football are the outdoor sports. Sports are the highly important to every person in every age. Sports help to produce unique personality.Courage,braveness,flexibility,punctuality and healthy are the results of unique personality. They provide necessary nutritions and energy for the smooth function of organs and limbs. We can consume grains, fruits,vegetables,dark green leaves,milk and eggs as healthy food items. We can grow these food items in our home garden itself. We can rear cows, goats and hens in our home itself. English is the most widely used foreign language in Sri Lanka and many books on Science and Technology are written in English so we can read them by learning English. International trade will not be possible with the lack of English knowledge. Knowing the mother tongue only will be handicap for that.
